Products We Market

ChemStar is a strong market participant in the products listed below. We specialize in the purchase, sale, and logistical transportation of these, along with a host of other products as well.

Crude Oil

Condensate is a light oil usually made up of pentane, propane, butane or hexane.  Once stabilized, condensate is used to make fuels such as gasoline and is a key element for making certain types of plastic. It is an effective dilutant used to stabilize heavier crude oil and get it to the correct weight before it gets sent to refineries.

Condensate

Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a liquid mixture of propene, propane, butene, and butane. It is generally processed to remove light ends and is generally treated to remove hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, and water. Natural gas liquids (NGL) are components of natural gas that are separated from the gas state in the form of liquids through absorption and condensation as two of the most used techniques. NGL includes ethane, propane, butane and pentane. It is used as feedstocks in the heating industry and other applications.

Fuel oil is a liquid petroleum product (either heavy fuel oil or residual oil) that is burned in a furnace, boiler, or engine to generate power. Fuel oil comes in the form of burnable liquids produced by various distillation processes, or it can be in the form of a residual oil. Fuel oils differ from one another by their hydrocarbon composition, viscosity, flash point, carbon residue, sulfur content, and other chemical contents and uses.

Reactive Monomers

Styrene monomer is an industrial chemical derived from petroleum or natural gas by-products that is used for making a range of modern plastics and synthetic rubbers. These are used in a host of everyday products.

Biofuels, including SAF, are fuels that are produced over a short time span from biomass (a source of renewable energy), rather than by the very slow natural processes involved in the formation of fossil fuels, such as oil. Biofuels can be produced from plants or from agricultural, domestic, or industrial biowaste.
