Knight-Chemstar, Inc. dba ChemStar is a marketing and distribution company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Since its formation in 2002, it has steadily grown into the company it is today. It is a dynamic and innovative chemical marketing and logistics company that has been at the forefront of the industry for over two decades. With a rich legacy and an unwavering commitment to excellence, we have become a trusted partner and a very recognized name in the marketing and distribution of a wide range of petroleum, petrochemical products, and refinery feedstocks. Specializing in the marketing and logistics of diverse products, including Crude Oil, LPGs and NGLS, Olefins, Gasoline and Blend Stocks, Reactive Monomers, and Renewables, we have built a strong reputation for providing superior quality and reliable services. A Note From

Our Founder

As the founder and CEO of ChemStar, when I look at the team we have brought together, it brings me unparalleled satisfaction to see the daily interaction with each other and the problems we solve for our suppliers and customers.

After graduating from Texas A&M in 1987 with a BS in Chemical Engineering, I began my career as a petrochemical marketing consultant in Houston, Texas. My second career was in sales and later procurement for a large-scale privately owned petrochemical company also in Houston.

In December of 2001, I started the self-employment “Dream” by moving two trucks of Petrochemical feedstock, and only two, that first month.

From that kitchen table we have grown into a vibrant community of talented traders, salespeople and logistics experts whom I consider family. Surrounding myself with this family has allowed ChemStar to push boundaries, transform obstacles into opportunities and foster a culture of innovation and growth.

I am proud to say, today ChemStar moves half a billion dollars of a wide range of products around the United States and abroad annually.
